If I were to think about how my story with photography began, I don’t think I could point to one exact moment. It feels like photography has always been a part of my life.

I grew up in a family where having photos printed almost every month at the studio in the nearby small town was simply part of our routine.

My dad was always the one who loved taking photos, anything, anywhere, anytime. Film or digital, it didn’t really matter.

In 2020, stuck at my parents’ house during the pandemic, I got my hands on a DSLR for the first time. That’s when I think my real interest in photography began, but this time not just in taking pictures, but in understanding how a camera actually works.

The camera wasn’t mine, and eventually I had to let it go, but somehow, things continued to unfold naturally.

A year later, I found myself studying Audiovisual Communication in another country, where I came across DSLRs and mirrorless cameras again,  this time with a little more clarity and direction.

Not long after, I bought my first camera, the one I still use today to play, experiment, and discover the world.
